Lately I've been asked by many people, "Why is there so many moderators?"
Answer:
We'd like to have 3-4 moderators per forum because of the following reasons...
1. None of us can be online 24/7. We all have a life away from these forums and the internet. Our hopes are that there will be at least 1 moderator online at all times. That way things won't get out of hand like they do at other sites.
2. If a post or thread needs editing or removal, we can get opinions of the other moderators as to how to 'fix it'. That way, one moderator can't be blamed for being too strict or not strict enough. Kinda keeps things on a more even keel.
3. If someone has an idea for the forums, we take a poll and vote on it along with lots of discussion.
