Anybody have any experience with this or read something about it?
I was told that a 20% mix adds noteable hp and gives a better, longer - more complete burn on all the fuel in the cyl without drying out the cyl. Never any smoke, even after the start of the next shift.
I'm having an inframe done right now on a E7 427 Mack and I had asked if a 460hp engine kit and a simple recalibration of the ECM was all that was necessary? Apparently not possible, additionally it would take a different turbo, different "E" package and something else that escapes my memory at the moment. It sounded very expensive so I bought the 427 kit.
Having an e-switch on the dash to turn it on in the hillls for a little extra power would be nice. I suppose it would also be necessary to have an auto shut off for when the rpm's dropped below a certain limit in case it was forgotten on, just like the jake.
