Did you watch the King funeral the other day?

Well, regardless of what political party you are a member of, it was a total disgrace!

Speaker after speaker, dissed the President of the United States, who was forced to sit there with his wife and listen to their tirades against him.

My advice to him would have been, not to attend in the first place! What purpose was served? The blacks in this country do not support him. The highest percentage of the black vote that he ever got was 11.

In my opinion, she did not do anything in her life to deserve the presence of the leader of our country at her funeral. We all know that he only went for political reasons. I'll bet he had different thoughts the next morning.

The loudest appaluse came after some jerk started talking from the pulpit about "wiretapping." I think he was referring to the fact that the government had wiretapped her husband. The camera showed Senator Kennedy clapping right along with the rest who agreed with the speaker that it was illegal.

NOTE TO SENATOR KENNEDY!! IT WAS YOUR BROTHER WHO AUTHORIZED THE WIRETAP OF REV KING!!!!!!!!

Former President Jimmy Carter sprewed out his usual hate of the current administration. This from a man whose own presidency is rated near the very bottom of all our presidents.

I've never seen such disgraceful behavior by the "anti-Bush" clowns. Can anyone explain to me how a funeral is the proper stage for all that "anti-Bush" vomiting? How does that kind of behavior honor Mrs. King? After all, that's what they were SUPPOSED to be doing wasn't it?

Both HW and Dubya acted like the gentlemen they are. Neither stooped to the level of the Democratic party.

I didn't get to watch, Big D, but its good to get the review....I truly wish I could say I was dissappointed ......but honestly -with myself, how can I be when it seems the anti-Bush continues to do what it has always done so well.....take advantage of every opportunity to bash him, or our government. If the lady was so great as to have 4 presidents in attendance as well as other political leaders.....why didn't they do, as you said, make it a day of testimony on her life and those touched by her... It sounds like a contrived opportunity to call it a funeral....

On a different note, I contnue to remember Rain and her Mom, and your whole family... Sounds like it may be a long long week for all....
We're just on the hump day today!

Please Wincatcher, take a wider view of this. The people who would use a funeral as a political arena are not Bush bashers, they are something a little less than human. There are people who bash the President, and I support their right to do it. I don't agree with them too much, but will defend their rights to bash who they see fit. But to turn that woman's day of tribute into a Bush Bashing Fest, well, they should all be beaten to death with wiffle ball bats. Yes, wiffle ball bats. Real bats would end their suffering too quickly.

If you took all the so called cival rights people at that funeral and put them together you still wouldnt add up as much IQ level as what a dog terd would have. So anything those clowns would say wouldnt amaze me.
