The Roady 1 in my truck is about ready to "head south", and I need to replace it.
I'm looking at either an XM MyFi or a Pioneer AirWare to replace it. I'm wanting a "portable" unit so I can use it while I'm out of the truck for a morning run, or out for a ride on my mountain bike.
I'm leaning towards the Pioneer AirWare in terms of a better quality unit, but wanted to talk to those who have had them & used them for awhile. Thanks!

I don't have Sirius. Don't care to have it either.

Based on an O & A review I heard a few months ago, the Sirius portable uses vacuum tubes
Perhaps your running mate can carry a backpack carrying the genset to power it. Just don't get farther apart than the connecting cables :chase:

 I dunno about THAT, but I did buy a Pioneer AirWare yesterday and just hooked it up. I like it pretty well so far!

Running mate? Nope! That won't happen unless I get a dog later on. Besides, I wouldn't expect a weiner dog to carry 5 times their weight around! :yikes:

I love my XM MyFi.
The 5 hours of memory comes in handy, and the there’s a built in antenna when you take them walks. There is an external antenna that clips onto you shirt that picks up better.
It’s just a handy dandy unit.
Get into truck, drop unit into holder and it links up to your stereo, recharges, and connects to the outside antenna.
Get home, drop into the holder, and you have the same thing. Home antenna picks up great in the house! … no need to run the antenna outside.

I bought a Pioneer AirWare last week, and LOVE IT!
Very easy to use, and the sound quality with its FM Modulator is much better than it was with my old Roady 1.
Now if it would just warm up somewhere in the near future, I can see how it works when I go for a bike ride or a morning run.
