Capt, where's some good big truck salvage yards in Texas? I used to go to TNT south of Dallas, but they recently exported all the Classics they had in the yard there to south America.

There's one just across the TX/OK border on Hwy 75. If I remember right, it's before ya get to Durant when you're heading n/b.

HSLD, what parts are you looking for? I have a friend in San Antonio that works for a used truck parts store.

There's some truck salvage yards in the San Antonio area, and I can try finding the numbers for them if you want.

Yep, I know the place. If it's where I'm thinking, and who I'm thinking, they qouted me a very good price on an air ride clip for my second trailer.

Problem is, my places are telling me on the phone that they don't have any Classics now or FLD's that'll interchange parts with a Classic. Apparently, exporting them pays big bucks????

I just really need to find a wrecked Classic or FLD that I can poke over.
I've got a wish list of things I'd like to replace, but can't see paying Freighliners $$$ for them. Mostly, it's just small interior pieces and a few exterior trim pieces. A wrecked Werner Classic like mine would be great. But, I haven't found one around here or close by.
