I have Verizon's DSL service, which comes with MSN's Premium web browser. I love it. I still use IE when I'm testing websites that I work on, but do my own surfing with MSN.

I've tried FF in the past.
I came back to IE due to the same reasons others have mentioned.
When running FF, I never saw any real advantage over IE.

Just for curiousity's sake, what am I supposed to be looking for in FF as an improvement over IE?

Speed, security, and reliability is what you get. Tabbed browsing, themes, and other extensions are optional.
I take it, you didn't even attempt to use it very long before you went back to IE.

Why Firefox over IE????

From the Kim Komando website:

--> THREAT TO INTERNET EXPLORER IS CIRCULATING
Code that can be used to exploit a flaw in Internet Explorer is
available on the Web. A hacker could take control of your computer if
you simply go to a bad Web site, according to published reports.

According to the reports, no patch is available. I suggest you switch
to the Firefox browser, which is not vulnerable to this flaw. It is
free at:

http://www.mozilla.org/

By the way Kim Komando is one of the better sites out there that offer real world answers, and helpful tips that even I can understand :p

Firefox has an extension that will open a IE tab inside of Firefox allowing you to view those webpages that need IE. Even the windows update will work in the IE tab. Here is the link, just scroll down to IE Tab.
You can also go to the tools extensions on your filebar. It will pop open a window. Just click on "get more extensions"
https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/
Hope this helps.
