wifi locations

Ok so here is the start of where to find wifi,,, we all know that T/A, the Hook, have thier service, so lets try to keep it to those places that have it, but no one really knows about.

Johnson' s Corner, Loveland,Co I-25 Found it completly by chance. Works good in the smoker's area of the resturant, and out on the south side of the parking lot. Free :D

Also Rudy's Grill and Truck Wash, US85 Greeley,Co, didnt try it there, only saw it was advertise,,, says it's free :D

Rest areas in Iowa have free Wi-Fi for anyone to use.

Last week down in TX, I noticed they have some Wi-Fi hotspots in several rest areas along I-35 between Hillsboro & San Antonio. Also TX has Wi-Fi in the rest areas on Hwy 281 between George West TX and Edinburg TX.

Big Texan Steak House in Amarillo, TX has free Wi-Fi.

I can't stand their food, but I'll park for the night & go have a few beers at the bar while on my laptop.

Amarillo is one of very few places my Verizon air card doesn't work anyway. :wtf:

Cedar Rapids IA, I-380, exit 13, the truckstop next to the Peterbilt dealer has free Wi-Fi. So it says on their big flashing sign out along the highway.

Right outside my window. The city has WiFi up and running. It is free with advertising or $20 something a month without. I tried it, but it isn't as fast as cable, so I think I will keep the cable.

Gordy's Tk Stop and Resturant in La Pine,OR. On US 97

advertised free wifi. I was out there a week ago, thought i'd try it. kept getting a no default gateway error. So i mentioned something about the wifi not working to the waitess, and she said there were others mentioning the same thing. She said it was thier system, And not the driver's laptops.
So if anyone gets out that way in the futrue, please try the wifi before you do the aircard. So we can get an update.

I was in the resturant on the far northside, next to the windows, ( needed to plug into the electrical out let) The only one in the smokers section. Never did try it out in parking lot.
Resturant sits acorss the lot from the main building.
