I found that I can not use Internet Explorer because the filters are too tight. Now that I use Mozilla firefox I can post lots of images if they are not "protected" by thier own software. Today I could not get aany thing off the Speedo swimsuit images for my post in the Cdn forums. I think those are image protected and copyrighted!

(full directions in top post)
Will the new forum software (coming soon) have an attachment capability for registered (or site supporting?) users??
~~~
If you're looking for additional info on posting images, have a look at this:
Here's a quick-n-dirty primer for attaching images to a post:
1) You need an online accessable place to host your images (TUSA provides a Gallery for that if you care to use it). Photobucket was suggested and is a decent place to use, as far as I know (I don't use them myself, but I know several folks who do and have had good experiences). You might also check to see if your own ISP allows you "web space". Many do, many others do not.
2) If you do have web space through your ISP (or a site that will allow you an FTP account), you will need an FTP Client, which is a "File Transfer Protocol" program; basically just a program that allows you to connect to your web space and upload files. An example of an FTP client (program) would be Cute_FTP or WS_FTP <Google is your friend>.
3) Once you have your images/files uploaded, copy/paste/type the link to the image or file inside your forum post. Highlight the link (left-click and drag until the entire link is highlighted), click one of the buttons on top of the posting area, labeled "Img" or "URL". Those buttons will automatically add the proper code tags around your image or file so it will appear in the post. That's it really...
Here's an example of a posted image:
http://www.smsp.org/sandman/images/il2ss/sandmans_pony_sm.jpg
Here's the code used to display that image:
http://www.smsp.org/sandman/images/il2ss/sandmans_pony_sm.jpg
Notice the "img" tags in square brackets on either end of the file link? That's a web/forum-safe coding called "BBCode", which is sort of like HTML code, but safe to use in that it doesn't allow hackers to alter the code and inject their own code as raw HTML can.
There's a lot more that can be done with forum posts and image or file links... You can make a small image 'clickable' so that it opens a larger image in a new window/tab. I'll use the example above with it's full-sized image opening in a new window/tab (depending on your browser) when you click the image:
http://www.smsp.org/sandman/images/il2ss/sandmans_pony_sm.jpg (http://www.smsp.org/sandman/images/il2ss/sandmans_pony.jpg)
The code for that clickable image is like this (it's actually all one line, but the display width may force it to multiple lines) :
http://www.smsp.org/sandman/images/il2ss/sandmans_pony_sm.jpg (http://www.smsp.org/sandman/images/il2ss/sandmans_pony.jpg)
The line starts with the URL tag and the link to the full-sized image. Then the image tags and the small image (thumbnail) URL, then finally closed with the closing URL tag so the small image becomes a link to the big one.
Hope this helped!
Images from a flight-sim game I spend way too much time messing around with. ;)
