When I bought my new Toshiba Satellite M65 laptop computer (with a 17" screen) back in 9/05, I decided I needed a hard case for it.

I bought a Targus case, and the buttons to latch the case shut broke just 4 months later. :wtf: If I remember right, the warranty on Targus cases is only for 90 days. :vmad:

I'm curious as to what everyone else has been using for laptop cases.

I did buy another hard case yesterday (made by Suisse) that appears to be made better than the Targus case.

The one that came with my Dell. :p

It's padded pretty good and the laptop fits very snug in it.

Plenty of room for the accessories that I carry also (power cord, wireless card, trigger finger type mouse, webcam, headset w/ boom mic, camera USB cord for d/l pics, CD case w/ all my different programs and a couple other things).

My first laptop was a Dell, and it didn't have a case with it. Youmust have bought a package deal, right?

When I originally started looking at laptops, I also looked at cases for them too. All the ones I seen at Wally World and Best Buy looked kinda cheesy and cheaply made. (we have no other real electronics stores around here)

So when I ordered my laptop via phone from Dell, I asked the guy about a case. He said that Dell sold cases. I had him add one on my order. I think the cost of the case was like $50.
