I got my truck back out of the Crete shop today after getting the clutch replaced, and it cracked me up when I was driving across the yard & something didn't seem right. I had the range selector down, and it felt like I was going just a bit fast :yikes: !
Come to find out, on these Meritor transmissions in our trucks (which use an electric range selector switch instead of a selector valve, which works on air), it's possible for a mechanic to hook the wiring up backwards on the transmission. :wow:

After 25 years in the truck repair business it still amazes me at what can get screw up!!!!
