I wonder how to get in touch with those who have trucks on at Landstar and looking to sell their truck/flat or get drivers into 'em so they can buy them later. I know the lcapp website doesn't allow non-members to post inquiries, but perhaps there's a way to get member(s) to post for you. Anybody hear of such a thing? :fishing:

Several of our members are leased on with Landstar. I do know for a fact that they only run 1 truck each, but maybe they can put you in touch with someone that has a small fleet on with Landstar.

I see that Landstar has redesigned their website. They used to have a link that allowed drivers to apply online to drive for fleet owners. Now they don't have that option..........or I missed it somewhere. :wtf:

If you look at the left hand bottom corner of the LCAPP website, you'll see the for sale by owner link. Click on that and you'll usually find someone wanting to make a deal on a truck, or hire a driver.

There's a 2001 KW T200 on there right there with owner financing. As far as a trailer, you can always lease one through them. That's available to everyone leased onto Landstar.

Another thought would be to put an application in and get qualified. Then, it'd be easier to find a fleet owner looking to deal on a truck.
