i had been on road away from home for 18 days,been by house once did laundry and left again. was told be out 14 days home.the manager that hired me phoned me and asked why i had not stopped in to see him when home told had not been home yet.asked were going told going back to bc than back into states.he said no i was to be loaded to go home.he made that happen.lesson learned there is alawys someone above the dispatcher,or load planner or fleet manager you just have to keep going up the chain till get resolved.remember you are the captain of the truck so you decide when it moves or stops the dispatcher will not get ticket you will.
