Ok, I need some input on cameras. I thought my old one was broke and I'd have an excuse to buy a new one. Only because I've wanted a new one for a long time. It isn't broke, but I'm going to pretend it is.
I'm look at one of these KODAK (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7621683&type=product&id=1130985156465)
Any ideas of how good they are? Or other suggestions?
I don't need anything fancy or expensive. Something plain and simple. :D

Looks to be a very good simple cam. And the price ain't too shabby either. Just go a head and order a 512 memory card with it when you get it.

I have a Kodak digital camera and it's very user-friendly. Have had it for about 4 years now. As Marge mentioned, the memory card is an absolute must.
Beanie, it might help if you read the Owners Manual!

:bop: Why don't you read it and then tell me how to use it! I think we had decided it was you that was going to handle the electronics stuff wasn't it? Or was I? :harhar:

Bonnie, we have 2 digital cameras.
I carry a Kodak Easyshare CX6200 on the road with me. That's what I use for the pictures I take and post.
Deb has a Kodak Easyshare CX7330.
Both cameras are at least 2 years old, but they still serve our purposes well.
Deb's camera has a lot more features than mine does.
As far as setting up a Kodak Easyshare camera on your computer, well, even I can do that in just a few minutes...........and I ain't from 'Scaaannnnsin'.....or blonde.   :harhar: ;)

The Kodak easyshare cameras are very easy to use.
I bought Tina one just after Chris was born. It was a 5 mp that was factory refurbished that I got for $150 including a 512mb memory card through Tigerdirect.com
It has given us no problems what so ever in the time we have had it and we have taken probably a total of 600 plus pics with it since then.

I have a cheapie little Fuji FinePix. It is very easy to use, very easy to download to compooter, and uses regular batteries (two AA's).
All my photos in the galleries were taken with it. I am more than happy with it.
