Any members leased to Mercer?

As you may know I have been seriously considering going out on my own aftr 18 years as a company driver. I have narrowed my choice of truck to a used Penske leased truck, have a friend who can hand pick on efor me with little or no issues.

I wanted to pull a van and have a couple real good leads but as the dumb butt that I am forgot I have a cousin who has worked in the office at Mercer for 8 years. She claims they'll be a good fit, pay and all but I want to get some "real life" experiences from drivers, not office people if ya know what I mean.

Make sure you talk to a few of the VAN drivers, NOT the flatbed guys. It's a whole different animal. Pay and availability of loads.

Also, I think you have to buy a trailer to lease on there, too. Might want to check on that. Watch out for the leases from the big trailer companies, they're HIGH.
