I-40 in western North Carolina, just west of Asheville.

These are a few pics of the 'gorge'. Speed limit for trucks is 50 mph and we're restricted to the right lane only for about 25 miles.

If you're caught speeding or out in the left lane, the fines are pretty stiff from what I hear.

I took mine from the other side though. I had never been through "the gorge" before and wouldn't you know it? Rain...all the way down and back up. I did manage to get a few decent shots though.
