I am an OOIDA member.
I just signed up for the MembersEdge today, also.

However, t seems the only access to disounts on tires is thru the OOIDA Fuel Card.

I'm not in a position to get that at this time.

I don't believe the small outfit I am leased to has any access to discounts.

What options would anyone suggest ??

Most 'national accounts' and 'discount programs' are just hype. You can get a better deal just by calling around to different tire shops and comparing. I just got 10 new Yokahama's on the tractor and paid 429.00 dollars LESS than the national account cost.

Remember that the national account is an average of National Prices so that the price may be a good one in Taos NM and a crappy one in Los Vegas. It is the national average price and that may not be the best deal.

If you buy from the local dealer you have a local point of contact for needed service and/or problem resolution.

I agree with Wombat on this. We have a local tire dealer that we use for all our trucks and trailers.

Their prices are competitive with anyone, and their service is outstanding. Being close means they have to live with the tires the same as we do.
