The female driver of a Saturn was not injured after it ran underneath this 18-wheeler on Lay Dam Road near the I-65 exit yesterday morning.

Close shave: The female driver of this Saturn was not injured in this wreck.

Clanton Police and Fire departments responded to the call. The driver of the tractor-trailer also wasn’t injured. According to officials on the scene, the car was apparently trying to turn onto the road as the 18-wheeler passed by.

The truck dragged the vehicle several feet. Clanton Police investigated the crash.
